Through an investment in the EB-5 program, if all the requirements are met, you can obtain permanent residence or a green card.

At the beginning, the green card obtained will be valid for 2 years. After it is proven that the investment continues and that at least 10 full-time jobs were created by each investor (among other requirements), permanent residence can be obtained.

Since November 21, 2019, the minimum investment amount must be US $ 900,000 if the project is located in an area that is considered rural or has an unemployment rate even 50% higher than the national average; or US $ 1,800,000 in any other area. The investment can be direct (you own the company, and you manage it) or in a Regional Center, as part of a group of investors.
